I am very proud to say that  Layla von Boeselager was the foundation for Boeselager Kennels. Layla was an East German DDR, and West working German Shepherd. She was an awesome dog, and our personal protection/family companion. She will truly be missed, and always loved. She is a family member that will be in our hearts forever.

Imarah vom Boeselager
We decided to hold back Imarah (A.K.A. Marah) from our "I" litter out of Ena and Wizard von Schraderhaus. She is 86.7% East German DDR and the rest is West working lines. Marah is Boeselager's 4th generation. She is independent, smart and of course gorgeous!!!! We hope to incorporate her into our breeding program so that she will keep our bloodlines going :-)  You can see her mother (Ena) on this page as well as her Grandmother (Anka) and Great Grandmother (Layla) as well as her Great Aunt (Askia). We imported Bria from Germany. She is full DDR. We picked her up at the airport in Chicago and we are Absolutely In LOVE with this girl. She fits right in with our pack. Bria has an independant streak which we love and has no fear at all. She goes right up to all of our dogs all on her own with out assistance from us. Bria has Very Nice food/prey drive and a beautiful on/off switch. Her structure is just Gorgeous with a Beautiful flowing gate and thick bone. Bria can also be a big clown too, lol!!! She makes me laugh all the time. I am Beyond HAPPY with this girl :-)   Thank You to Ina (von Picasso) for giving us this opportunity to get this girl.  When she gets older and passes her health certifications, she will be included into our breeding program.

We decided to hold Dessa back from our "O" Litter out of Ena and Malik. She is our 4th generation of our breeding lines. Dessa Loves the flirt pole and has a beautiful on/off swtich. She is very easy to train and she is a Love to be around. Dessa has a Wonderful temperament We hope to get her and I back into schutzhund training as she is able to do the sport. Dessa is 86.7% DDR and the rest are West German working lines. Livia Stassi, A.K.A Zyah
This Gorgeous girl came to us from Belarus Russia. We've been watching her breeder for quite some time before we decided to take the plunge and get her. Zyah is full DDR and has an excellent temperament, very thick bone with a masculine head on her. This photo does not do this girl justice at all. When you see her in person she is a Very thick dog, stocky built to her. She is truly an Exceptional girl to have. She has a male bark to her too. Loves playing in the water. We are hoping that she passes her health certifications and if she does, then Zyah will hopefully be bred to Hammer and then an outside full DDR male. We have a lot planned for her.
